Step-by-Step Process

1. Clean the Surface Thoroughly

   • Remove all dust, oil, grease, and dirt.
   • If your floor has any irregularities or stains, use a concrete degreaser or light sanding.

2. Etch the Surface with Acid

   • I used muriatic acid to open up the concrete and ensure the epoxy adheres correctly.
   • This step is crucial. Rinse thoroughly and let the floor dry completely.

3. Wait for the Right Conditions

   • Temperature and humidity matter. I waited for a dry day with moderate temperatures (~65-75°F / 18-24°C).
   • Do not apply if the floor is cold or damp. It affects curing and adhesion.

4. Mask and Protect the Area

   • Use painter’s tape to block off any walls, drains, or areas you don't want epoxy on.

5. Mix and Apply the Epoxy

6. Cure Time
